LaCasse ranks as top fullback in Mass.
He doesn't currently list Syracuse, but he's just too darn good not to profile
There's a long tradition of talented fullbacks from the state of Massachusetts. Just
recently there has been Rob Konrad, Omar Easy, J.P. Comella & Greg Hanoian.
And
now you can add Stoughton standout Ryan LaCasse to the list.
LaCasse,
a 6'3, 230 pound athlete who claims 4.4 speed in the forty
yard dash, plays tailback in high school but projects to fullback at the next
level.
LaCasse used his 10.8 speed in the 100 meters to gain
1202 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior, earning All-Eastern Mass. honors from
the Boston Globe and Honorable mention by the Patriot Ledger.
Ryan
plans on attending camps at Boston College and Penn State this summer and has
already visited the Boston College and UConn campuses. Those two plus Wisconsin,
Iowa and Duke have contacted Ryan already, though he is keeping his options
open.
And just to sweeten the package, Ryan looks like a full
qualifier with a 2.5 GPA and 960 on the SAT.
