Syracuse is the early leader for Lester, who ranks with Johnny Sylvain and Jazzmen
Williams as the top cornerback prospects at the top of Syracuse's board. He
and Williams are the fastest players Syracuse is involved with. Lester
has times of 10.6 in the 100 meters and 21.47 in the 200 meters. He's
in good shape academically with a 2.7/980.
11/29 Update: Larry has been leaning to Boston College ever since his October visit to the school.
The Syracuse coaching staff gets their chance to change his mind this
weekend as he is making his official visit 12/1.
1/1 Update: Larry is down to Boston College and Syracuse and should decide within the week.
Syracuse seems to be recruiting him as a wide receiver and Boston College
as a cornerback. Eerie similarity between Larry and Jared Jones, who
had a terrific visit to BC last year and ultimately decided for the double "O"
of the Orangemen and offense.
